Situated at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountain in the Cango Valley, lies a spectacular game farm that boasts many facilities that are able to cater for both the business and leisure traveller. The nearest town, Oudtshoorn, is home to many ostrich farms where you are able to ride an ostrich, sample ostrich meat and biltong; and purchase many ostrich products. Oudtshoorn is also home to a wildlife ranch which offers a spectacular display of wildlife that you are able to interact with - crocodile cage diving is a definate highlight of the day! The awe inspiring stalagmites and stalagtites of the Cango Caves are worth a visit and will leave many a visitor in awe of this natural wonder.

Buffelsdrift Game Lodge offers accommodation in the form of 25 tastefully decorated en-suite tents with full air-conditioning, a separate shower, each with its own entrance and private wooden deck on the edge of the waterhole. 
Buffelsdrift Restaurant offers an à la carte or buffet menu that specializes in local Karoo cuisine – homemade preserves, chutney, and pickles – fresh produce and herbs from the area as well as a variety of freshly baked oven bread. 
Buffelsdrift Conference Venue exits onto the wooden deck with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Karoo plains. This venue is available for conferences, seminars, motivational speakers, team building, presentations and all other corporate and social events - rates and details on request, maximum of 100 delegates. 
The Karoo Wedding Chapel is a tiny wooden chapel with thatched dome, situated on the edge of the natural waterhole and a wide wooden deck as entrance to the intimate little chapel. This deck serves as seating space for wedding guests witnessing the bridal couple exchanging their wedding vows. The chapel is ideal for romantic country weddings.

Directions from Port Elizabeth Airport:

Take the N2 from Port Elizabeth towards Grahamstown, at the interchange to Grahamstown continue straight on the N10 towards Cradock then turn right at the signs for Alicedale and follow the road into Alicedale.
